Koto GallerySince moving to the United States from Japan, I have become more interested in Japanese culture and traditional art than when I was living in Japan. This interest has led to a series of paintings called "Koto" or "Old Capital City", which is based on classical Japanese culture. |
Time on the Earth GalleryIf God exists and God is responsible for creating the entire planet, I respect him as the greatest artist. Looking around I see the earth filled with creations. Everyone is uniquely different. No two items are the exactly the same. Everything is constantly changing. |
In This Life GallerySince 2004, I’ve been working on a series of political paintings for the exhibition "In This Life: Reflections on War and Politics", which is about the War in Iraq and current political issues. In the series, I tried to express what I see and what people are talking about on the issues. The theme is a bit controversial, but my paintings do not support one side over another side. |
